Digital KeypadThe Somfy single channel digital keypad is a programmable indoor or outdoor control panel for our Clear View Motorized Power Screens. This single channel digital keypad is the perfect solution for our security conscious customers to help prevent unwarranted access to their power screen.
Hand Held RemoteA single channel hand held radio transmitter remote can operate one power screen. A 5 channel radio transmitter remote can operate up to 5 separate power screens independently. Our hand held remotes comply with Part 15 of the FCC rules.
Hard Wired Wall SwitchA single channel hardwired wall switch can operate one power screen. A 5 channel hardwired wall switch can operate up to 5 separate power screens independently.
Housing CoverTo accommodate various width and height requirements, two housing canister sizes are available. Canister size is determined by the width, height and screen fabric to be used. A 4" housing canister (4 ¼" x 4 ¼=¼ x 4") can span up to 17’ in width and 12’ in height. A 5" housing canister (4 15/16" x 4 15/16" x 4 11/16") can span up to 25’ in width and 16’ in height.
L-BracketsL-Brackets are used to create a mounting surface for the sidetracks of the power screen when mounting inside the jam of an opening. The L-Bracket is screwed into the side of the jams and creates a 2” surface for you to then mount your sidetrack to.
Screen Mesh Options
Screen Mesh SeamA seam in the mesh is necessary when you reach a certain width or height for an opening in which a power screen is to be installed. The seam joins two pieces of screen mesh together in order to accommodate certain widths and heights. The times in which a seam is needed varies per screen mesh style and percentage. The seam location can be placed at the top or bottom of the power screen depending on the customers design.
Side Tracks or No Side TracksSide tracks will help create a 100% seal on the left and right of the opening. The Clear View Motorized Power Screen is the only one on the market that zips up on the left and right vertical bars to create a 100% seal. No side tracks, is a very common design option around pools and patios when using the power screen as a sun solution.
Somfy MotorSomfy motors are used in our Clear View Motorized Power Screens.
Weather SensorA weather sensor is a great addition to any power screen. When the sun rises, the power screen lowers automatically and if the wind picks up, it retracts back up to prevent any damage to the power screen.
Weight BarThe weight bar of the power screen is the bar that raises and lowers horizontally when you operate the power screen. The screen mesh is attached to this weight bar. In certain installations a black or white fuzzy pile is placed onto the bottom of the weight bar to help eliminate gaps from the unevenness of the floor or surface that this bar lowers down to.
Wire Guide SystemA wire guide system can be used in place of side tracks or no side tracks. A wire guide system is less noticeable and helps guide the screen up and down. A wire guide system helps prevent the unit from swaying back and forth in the wind.
Wireless Wall SwitchA single channel radio transmitter wireless wall switch can operate one power screen. A 5 channel radio transmitter wireless wall switch can operate up to 5 separate power screens independently. Our wireless wall switches comply with Part 15 of the FCC rules.
