1. What is a Clear View Motorized Power Screen?
Clear View Motorized Power Screens are great for those wide openings where the Clear View Retractable Screen door just won’t work such as a Garage Door, Patio Enclosure or an Extra Large Slider. The Clear View Motorized Power Screens are commonly used and installed to act as a Sun Shade on various applications. Clear View Motorized Power Screens consist of a horizontal housing unit ran along the top and vertical tracks (rails) on the left and right of the opening. The side tracks are optional and we can install the Clear View Motorized Power screen without side tracks or we can use a wire guide system instead of tracks. Simply, with the push of a button; the screen rolls down to the floor or back up into the housing.

2. How is the Clear View Motorized Power Screen different than the competition?
The difference is the quality, craftsmanship and the fact that not only is it the only Motorized Power Screen made in the U.S.A. but it is also the only screen on the market that is zipped up on in the side tracks to make it 100% bug proof.

3. What size door, window or opening will a system like this accommodate?
To accommodate various widths, height and screen requirements two housing canisters are available. A 4" housing canister (4 ¼" × 4 ¼ × 4") can span up to 17’ in width and 12’ in height. A 5" housing canister (4 15/16" x 4 15/16" x 4 11/16") can span up to 25’ in width and 16’ in height. Both series use the same 2 3/16" x 7/8" thick rail system. The weight bar on each housing applications is the same as well at 2 ¼" x 7/8" thick.

4. How difficult is it to install a Clear View Motorized Power Screen?
The installation of a Clear View Motorized Power Screen must be done by a certified, licensed, bonded and insured installer.  The installation of a typical Clear View Motorized Power Screen typically takes 2 hours with 2 installers.

5. Are custom powder coated colors available for an additional charge?
Yes. We currently offer over 210 Tiger Drylac Custom Powder Coated Colors and also 19 Custom Powder Coated Wood Grain Finishes.

6. How are the Clear View Motorized Power Screens mounted?
Clear View Motorized Power Screens can be surface mounted or mounted inside the jam of an opening on the exterior or interior of your home. A self-contained 110-volt motor is factory installed on either the right or left of the unit.

7. What are my screen mesh options?
The Clear View Motorized Power Screens can be ordered using Twitchell 60%, 80%, 85%, 90% or 100% solar block fabric. Please see our Clear View Motorized Power Screen color section for further details.

8.  What about pets, animals or kids, does a screen like this keep them in or out?
The Clear View Motorized Power Screen has been installed numerous times to keep ones pets or animals inside or outside. The zipper system (vertical tracks/rails) creates a 100% seal on the left and right while the weight of the drop down bar makes it almost impossible for any animal to escape. It is possible though for a pet, animal or even a child to push its way through the zipper system if given reasonable force.
